Hi everyone ... welcome to my new website .

 

I wanted to share with you a recipe that is always asked for at the retreats I cook for . It's my buckwheat seed crackers , they are super simple , crunchy , tasty and gluten free ....

100 g buckwheat flour

40 g ground flaxseed

220 g Sunflower or pumpkin seeds save 20 g for sprinkling on top

1 tsp salt

2 tbsp oil I use coconut or olive

300 ml water

 

Oven 180 degrees Celsius

 

Line 2 trays with either greaseproof paper or silicon sheets .

 

Mix all expect the seeds to sprinkle . It will be a wet In consistency so you will need to pour and spread it onto the sheets get it nice and thin. Sprinkle over the seeds.

 

Bake for 20 mins then remove from the oven take off the paper and flip the crackers so you cook the bottom side too , this will take about another 10 minutes .

 

Leave to cool then break into shards and enjoy as you like ... I like mine with beetroot hummus and avocado .. will share the beetroot dip recipe next time
